My Life Goal, ze Weight
Up..up and away! I have IBS issues again…
…thanks to Leeks! The restaurant pointed out that the meal came with mushrooms and I was okay with that okay…love mushrooms…didn’t see any mushrooms ONLY leeks…woke up the following morning with that stomach…spent the day with my jeans undone! Sorry for the crappy photo but it was a quick snap from Instagram stories. This is what happens when I eat onions, garlic, celery, spring onions or leeks; thankfully Bedford Hospital and I were able to work out what my triggers were after doing the FODMAP diet, I was one of the lucky devils that got to be a guinea pig a number of years ago when they first started using the diet on the NHS…and there was nothing to help you online bar the initial research out of Australia.

Next….maybe this week…hmmm maybe not!
What I’m Up Too…
So after my PMS rage diary entry from last week which came complete with a million and one spelling mistakes…I feel a load better…no more rage, is it because I started taking evening primrose oil again on the request of G…who knows! Just having my “normal” fibroid issues this week…I wasn’t too bad until today at John Lewis.
Rushed to the loo at John Lewis, all the stalls were full…so I’m trying to squeeze my pelvic floor muscles like a ninja…I’m not sure if this was going to help…it didn’t! Can hear a mother talking to her son telling him to pull up his pants and stop touching the toilet seat…after her third request telling her son to not touch the toilet seat, I almost kicked the door in myself to tell him to pull his f**king pants up and stop touching the toilet seat…of course I flooded in my overheated rage and no I didn’t have my evening primrose oil today. Met G at the cafe where he had bought me a chocolate eclair which wasn’t gluten free…honestly…he ate said chocolate eclair x 2 and I drunk a cup of tea with no milk.
So that was Sunday.
We went down to Kent to visit G’s mum’s aunt who is currently in hospital on Friday and Saturday…you have to love a lady that only has a handbag to carry her bottle of gin in. I managed to pop down to the gift shop to buy her some lollies and custard creams to fill up her handbag…apparently Gin isn’t allowed inside hospital.
Since we were down in that neck of the woods, G and I visited Chilham which was on my Jane Austen Bucket List…
…then the following day we took G’s mum to visit Rye which is where she’s wanted to visit for a while. Ticked two bucket list items off in a weekend.
G is still on sick leave…two more days to go…I’ve come to the conclusion that dishwashers aren’t there to make our lives any easier…they are there to start World War 3…honestly you can take a clean spoon out of the dishwasher but not unload the whole thing…boys!! He was warned a few times that the crutches will end up where the sun don’t shine shortly.
Very excited to be seeing Rachel tomorrow for gluten free creme egg pancakes…I’m bringing along my 16 kilos of gluten free flour…pretty sure I’m going to look like a huge drug dealer tomorrow evening!
And a big Happy Birthday to Stacey and G…it really does suck trying to go out for a birthday meal on Valentines Day!
Anyway enough of my babbling…sleep time.
