“You go to Brighton! — I would not trust you so near it as East-Bourne, for fifty pounds! No, Kitty, I have at last learnt to be cautious, and you will feel the effects of it. No officer is ever to enter my house again, nor even to pass through the village. Balls will be absolutely prohibited, unless you stand up with one of your sisters. And you are never to stir out of doors till you can prove that you have spent ten minutes of every day in a rational manner.”  – Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

My Life Goal, ze Weight

No change…

Shake Your Booty

…but I managed to do a bit of walking on the treadmill this week which is good as I’m still recovering from my whiplash…queue eye roll!

What I’m Up Too…

Yesterday I headed to Chester in Cheshire which was on my UK bucket list and I’m so happy to have finally visited as the city was just stunning.  It was a really pleasant way of spending a bank holiday weekend…who needs to board a flight on a bank holiday weekend to explore as there is just so much to see here in England.

^^This photo of Chester doesn’t do the city justice!

I’m looking forward to seeing my family next weekend…we are meeting halfway which is cool and I can’t wait to see them all.  G and I have FINALLY managed to book a flight in November using our companion voucher…only three more companion vouchers to go…thank you IHG for having great point promotions as it means that we won’t have to pay for our hotels while away either!

So I decided to finally bite the bullet and by myself a new suitcase…I’ve being looking at the Briggs & Riley suitcases for ages as they have a lifetime guarantee…even when the airline causes the damage.  I’m sick of forking out for a new suitcase or getting them fixed constantly so when John Lewis were having a sale on the suitcases I decided to buy one (plus I had a handy gift voucher as well)…you can get 4 avios per £1 spent if you click via British Airways 365 gateway at the moment….hello free flights!

Anyway that’s me…so what’s all the gossip?

xx

I thought so! What do you travel with? The life time guarantee was the winner, the accountant in me liked the fact that I would never have to buy a new one ever again!

Once you’ve amortised the cost of that suitcase it’s practically free ;) I like the look of their sensible work backpacks, what a geek, but a lifetime guarantee really means something to someone who puts their stuff through a fair amount of abuse!

Hope you’re having a fab holiday!
