My Life Goal, ze Weight

So a little gain this week…two words…holiday eating!

Shake Your Booty

I’ve not done too much proper exercise this week but we did walk around tiny little Cornish villages and that wore me out somewhat earlier in the week…and I’ve done a lot of DIY stuff in the house this week, so much so I was in bed till after midday today as the electric sander was hard work yesterday…a giant girls blouse right here folks!

What I’m Up Too…

We had a lovely time visiting Wells in Somerset and a few little villages in Cornwall but I’ve remembered why I didn’t enjoy Cornwall the first time around…school holidays…next time we will visit when it isn’t packed with kids EVERYWHERE…the locals were complaining that it now takes them 30 minutes to get to work rather than 10 minutes.

England Travel Inspiration - Doc Martin village, Port Isaac in Cornwall

We visited Port Isaac and Charlestown which were both beautiful…I’m thankful that G did all the driving during our holiday as it was a long driveeeeee.  I really enjoyed our staycation in Cornwall and I’m glad that I revisited…thank you Anna for all the tips on your blog.

It’s Month End this week but am out of the office for 2.5 days for another procedure down in London; fun times ahead!  Poor G has to drive me down to London for a 9am appointment…bless his little cotton socks…I will need to make him a cake as a thank you.

I managed to complete half of my personal To-Do list this week which is great news…normally I write one and then forget that I’ve written a list…Dory Brain but at least I remembered I have one this week…woohoo!

I’m trying to remember the other gossip I was going to share but have forgotten…drats!

Anyway enough of my babbling, I hope everyone had a really lovely week!

xx

We visited Cornwall in the middle of September and one of the things I noticed was how few families (but kids, specifically) we saw there. We are normally forced to travel during school breaks since we usually travel as a family, but that particular trip was just Cory and I, and for the first time ever I was able to witness what a blessing it is to travel when everyone else isn’t – ha! One thing to look forward to in three years when Lex is off at college, I guess!

Good luck with your procedure in London!
