My Life Goal, ze Weight
It’s come down ever so slightly considering my IBS is still raging out of control (and I gain weight during this time) and a lady at work has kindly given me her bug…this week I’ve really concentrated on eating healthy (no fads), just meat and vegetables all home made…it’s helped a little bit but still my tummy hasn’t settled…when my IBS kicks in, it can last between 4-6 weeks. Normally by week 3, the IBS has gone from Irritable Bowel Syndrome to Irritable Bitch Syndrome…I normally snap when someone asks if I’m pregnant!
Shake Your Booty
So I’ve started to sell all my exercise stuff that I don’t use on eBay…best month ever to do this as people are going nuts. While sorting stuff out last weekend I found my old Tae Bo dvds and have fallen in love with them all over again…I feel like I’ve bought them all over again!
This week, I’ve done tae bo, kettle bells and my osteopath exercises…I feel better for the exercise…or maybe it’s because we’ve entered a new year.
What I’m Up Too…
Well I decided to do some baking this morning which obviously I totally excel at…
…please check out the melted chopping board, lesson learnt! I also broke a large baking dish…apparently it wasn’t dishwasher proof and broke into very large pieces this morning as I was removing it from the dishwasher…second kitchen lesson of the day!
Still sorting through the house at the moment, cleaning and listing things on eBay…you honestly don’t understand how much crap you have until you start doing this…my mind boogles over the stuff I’ve bought over the past few years…just such a waste of hard earned cash.
I updated my weekly spreadsheet with my spending last night…holy moly, doing this weekly is an eye opener…okay probably didn’t help that there is a £300+ lens that finally arrived this week but still…jeezzzz. I was hoping to go out and play with the lens today but instead I will be sanding the skirting boards in the shoe room and then painting them…my least favourite DIY job!
My justification for my new prime lens was that I like photography and I wanted to take better photos…it’s an investment in something that I enjoy doing and not something that will sit in the corner that I will never ever wear.
On the blog front, I’m quite proud of myself as I managed to get two posts out this week…a rather long round up of our two nights in Santorini and then of our quick visit to Hitchin to eat cake. I will endeavour to write up my posts on Katakolo and Nafplio for next week…obviously this just depends on my work load during the week, I fit in posts around this.
I’m a huge fan of Anna’s blog, Travel with Penelope & Parker so if you have ever thought about visiting India but are still undecided on the destination then you need to check out Anna’s recent posts as they are full of very handy tips and beautiful photography…we’ve not booked a trip yet for 2017 and are still very undecided…the following options have popped up for G and I – Oman (yes again), India, Egypt (were thinking of visiting Aswan again!), China, Ukraine or maybe Russia…and then there are the spots that I would like to travel to like Colombia, Sudan, Nepal or The Stans!
Anyway enough of my babbling…time to find something to eat!
